Receptionist (Part-time)

Job Description

This is an excellent part-time opportunity to work for a fast growing chamber of commerce. The receptionist responsibilities will include answering phones, greeting clients, mail duties, maintain office supplies, renewal and new member letters, database entry, assist other administrative staff, etc. The receptionist is the first line of impression and support for our growing business. You will be expected to maintain and add to our reputation and culture.

Compensation: $12.00 – $18.00 per hour, DOE

Responsibilities

Greeting and welcoming clients in a respectful, professional, and timely manner-
showing each client to their meeting room
Answering incoming calls and assisting prospects and clients professionally and
with clear direction – answering questions or complaints and passing them on to
the correct department when needed
Follow up with potential clients to schedule appointments
Maintain a clean visual expectation of the lobby and meeting rooms
Process data from events
Coordinate office supplies and inventory
Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
Confirm appointments/meetings with clients
Gather and prepare weekly reports for meetings
Typical hours range between 9:00am- 3:00pm
Maintain data integrity of CRM

 

Qualifications

Willing to step outside job description to help others on the team
Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities and
outbound calls
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure
Flexibility in the growth and changes of the company
Ability to work independently as well as team collaboration  
Professional appearance
High school degree
