Ambassadors Club

The Ambassadors Club is comprised of active chamber members who have taken on extra opportunities to ensure the Chamber and its members receive the benefits of Chamber membership. Easily recognizable by their maroon jackets, Ambassadors demonstrate their commitment to the Chamber by becoming familiar with the Chamber’s mission and direction, and attending Chamber functions. Each Ambassador is a representative of the Chamber’s President and the Board of Directors at special events and in welcoming and orienting new Chamber members.

BUSINESS AFTER HOURS

The Ambassadors Club also sponsors the monthly Business After Hours networking event. This event offers a casual gathering, open to all chamber members and has become one of the best attended Chamber events. The event is hosted by a different chamber member each month and gives the host the opportunity to showcase their business. While Business After Hours event locations are decided months in advance, members who are interested in hosting an Business After Hours event can contact the Chamber of Commerce office for more information.

AMBASSADOR PERSONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Being an Ambassador opens the door to many personal opportunities, such as:

• Build meaningful relationships with business owners through the activities associated with the Chamber;
• Sponsor monthly After Hours networking events, graciously hosted by other chamber members;
• Meeting new chamber members and developing a personal relationship when delivering Chamber Plaques;
• Attend and participate in ribbon cuttings;
• Being a mentor for new business owners;
• Becoming a leader in the community; and
• Gaining exposure to several businesses in the area.
